This Week’s Quotation:

All the Stupid Little Things

All the stupid little things
that so many people do!
Enough to make a strong man tired
on a bright and sunny morning.

May wisdom come to these people!
Let them forsake
all the twists and turns of the heart
that strangle a happy life
and make good people
agonize at noon
and leaves them desolate
as the sun sets
behind burnt, brown hills.

How I pray
for whatever potion it is
that cures a person
of their petulant insistence
on destroying the one opportunity
before them
to live a happy, fulfilled life.

All the Stupid Little Things

Jane Anetrini, Doctor of Chiropractic. She assists people in finding their own inner wisdom, strength, and vitality.

All the stupid little things!  What are the things that strangle your heart or take your mind away from the exciting opportunity in front of you—the opportunity to create, to bless, to lift up?  To be yourself?  While we can manage without your radiant presence, I would rather not go hungry, longing for the gift of you.

One dash of thankfulness, two spoonfuls of forgiveness, and five minutes of silent breathing all bring us back to the wonder of life.  Our life, my life, the wonder of life that is always present, never leaving, just waiting for us to celebrate it.

Deep feeling and contemplation are gifts as well.  They do not need to be a distraction. These are available for our use. These are creative fuel when they are connected to the wonderful one we are and the source of our being.

I want to reiterate a segment of David’s poem:

How I pray
for whatever potion it is
that cures a person
of their petulant insistence
on destroying the one opportunity
before them
to live a happy, fulfilled life.

My prayer is for your joyous freedom to be your radiant self and for us to create a new world together.

What does it mean to become a sun?

Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

One Response

  1. The body of humanity on this planet is characterized not just by stupid little things but by colossal ignorance on every level of human function. The Love we are here to bring is terribly distorted, diverted and diverted. May I live my life that in some measure brings the intelligence of Love, so that the authentic nature of Love may begin to prevail on Earth through me and the emerging spiritual body of which I am a part.
