This Week’s Quotation:
I believe that every human being is called to greatness and that life is a thrill if we are in service to our calling, and from my own experience, I would recommend this. Do not deny any premonition of your destiny. And do not try to impose a prophecy of the future on your life now. Give it an honored place in your heart, knowing that a true prophecy will bend the world of the manifest to itself over time. Meanwhile, external events do not define our calling. They do not establish the commission we receive from the Invisible.

Answering the Call

Do you have a sense of destiny for your life? Have you ever become aware of a premonition for the future of your experience here on Earth?
The idea of our calling almost always comes as a vision of a future version of ourselves doing something and achieving something that we feel would bring us a sense of joy and fulfillment. How do we bridge where we are now and where we feel called to be? Fulfilling mission is where the nebulous potential of the spiritual meets the concrete action of the physical. The process of becoming is these two dimensions meeting in the present moment of now.
Your vision for yourself and your life is meant to be the goalpost that points you in the direction of the desire of your soul. We know ourselves through how we experience and express ourselves. When our expressed being each day is aligned with the vision we have of who we are meant to become, then we are fulfilling our mission.
I believe that the universal calling for each one of us is to awaken to the truth of who we are as beings of love and to live in a way that improves the quality of our individual and collective experience. Orienting ourselves to the vision of our potential—coming from the invisible instead of reacting to the external events that occur around us—is what fuels the drive to be the person today that we are meant to become tomorrow.
What does it mean to become a sun?
Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.
One Response
In line with what you write, Gary, I feel my vision and my destiny are to do what is mine to do to assist in bringing a regenerated state of humanity of earth where human beings are living together in peace and harmony and Nature is thriving. I really appreciate these words: “When our expressed being each day is aligned with the vision we have of who we are meant to become, then we are fulfilling our mission.” This is my experience, Gary, and I know it is yours as well.
