This Week’s Quotation:

With your thoughts and with your words, you can create a safe atmosphere where you welcome your emotions. You can be the one that tells your feelings what they need to hear—not someone else, not the TV, not the tapes in your head of your parents, your teachers, and anyone else in your life who might have told you things that were not true to what your life is about, not true to what is in the depth of your soul.

Emotional Sanctuary

No one else is responsible for creating the inner atmosphere in which you live. That’s yours to shape and re-shape!

So many of us learned to push emotions away—hide the messy ones, toughen up, stay quiet. Maybe the world didn’t feel safe for your feelings. Maybe you were told they were too much, or not enough. But here’s the truth: you get to change that now.

You can become the one who says to your sadness, You’re allowed here. To your anger, I hear you. To your fear, I’ve got you. With your thoughts and your words, you can build an inner world where your emotions don’t have to fight for belonging.

It starts with listening. What would change if you met your feelings with compassion instead of control or judgment? Just witnessing. Then, slowly, gently, rewriting the script. You don’t have to let old tapes play on loop—the voices of your past, the pressure of the world, the fear that says you’re not enough.

This is your life. Your soul knows the truth. And when your emotional world is met with love and safety, something opens. Something heals.

Be the sanctuary you’ve been searching for. The more safety you offer within, the more freedom you’ll find in how you move through the world.

What does it mean to become a sun?

Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

One Response

  1. Thank you, Lana, for the emotional wisdom you have offered. As you indicate, “Your soul knows the truth.” And when I am connected with the Truth of Love that I am, my emotions are simply one more faculty of perception with which I view and then respond in radiant service to my world. This is the “emotional intelligence” function that is a vital part of our spiritual work in regenerating the body of humanity.
