This Week’s Quotation:

The nature of your life as a human being is to be present here and now in this moment in time, in this immediate place where you are reading these words. The infinite and the eternal are present with you in this place—all those stars, solar systems, and galaxies, and all that space. All those eons of time that have led to this moment—your parents’ parents’ parents, and so many generations before them. The unfoldment of all creation before the first human being. And all the unfolding kaleidoscope of infinite possible outcomes that are before you in your own life that stretch into future generations of humanity and beyond.

Heart of Stardust

Maria Zayas, Teacher, and counselor of the heart and soul.

How amazing to become aware of the hugeness of life, and of our place in the middle of it all! We each hold a point in the midst of all that has been and all that will be, in time and space. All that has occurred has shaped this moment, and all that we do in this moment will shape what is yet to come…

Does that give you a sense of the immense personal responsibility that you hold?! I experience the complex weave of the stars and galaxies and solar systems, and all that space, as it lives in my own body, mind, and heart. I am one with the All That Is, and my molecules sparkle with stardust!

Have you ever wondered what your body, mind, heart, and spirit—our amazing capacities—are for? And how do we fit in the bigger picture?

The quest to understand this has been at the core of every spiritual tradition in the history of humanity. In every tradition, spiritual wisdom arrives at the same answer—humans hold a place of unique responsibility for translating the essences of the Cosmos into our world of form. Bringing heaven down to earth! And that requires selflessness and delicacy to hold the entire cosmos in our hearts, to lead with the impulse of Spirit that speaks to us from the core of the Sun, from the core of the Sun of Suns to our own Sun!

Let us become a Sun and stand in the responsibility of being that Sun for our worlds, near and far!

What does it mean to become a sun?

Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

  1. What an immense responsibility we have. As you put it, Maria, we are here to “translate the essences of the Cosmos into our world of form.” And yet it is as simple as shining the light of the sun that I am into each present moment. This is our spiritual work and you describe and embody it so beautifully.

  2. Yes, I agree with you, Maria, and with Katie-Grace and Jerry. We are so immense, it is impossible to know our vastness through the human brain, nor through the limited report of our eyes. Life too is immense, never-ending, multi-varied, that it is wonderful and amazing to be a tiny yet vast part of it. I appreciate your enthusiasm and wise articulation of knowing purpose and place within this infinite spectrum. Here’s to BECOMING A SUN. For anyone reading, i also highly recommend the book, on-line course, and other opportunities publicized on this site. Love, Tom C.
