This Week’s Quotation:
The human being was born with the potential of free will and has developed that capacity while growing up. So far, so good. But if your human capacity doesn’t understand that you are the one who created it with free choice, so that you could exercise your will as the human being, then the capacity is off by itself, ‘doing its own thing,’ using its will to find its freedom without you. And becoming horribly unhappy in the process.

Letting our Truest Self Lead

We were born with the gift of free will. It’s how we choose what to do, where to go, and how to grow. But before we ever took our first breath in this life, there was a part of us that already existed. That part—the truest part—will still be here after this life ends.
Our human self is designed to serve that truest self. It’s the way our inner wisdom, love, and creativity move into the world.
When we forget this, life gets a little sideways. We end up recycling culture and keeping old patterns alive without question. We make choices just to prove we can. We resist for no reason. We chase after things to fill a void—and even when we get them, we still feel restless.
But when we yield to that truest self and let it guide us, things start to line up. We feel steady. Our choices make sense. Creative energy flows. New thought emerges. Life feels like it’s moving in the right direction.
We aren’t here to fight against ourselves or drift without aim. We’re here to live in a way that lets our real self shine through—and in doing so, make our life a blessing to the world around us.
What does it mean to become a sun?
Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.
One Response
Free will is truly a mixed blessing. On the one hand, it allows us to be other than mere automatons or robots, forced to always make one choice only. On the other, it opens the possibility for making wrong choices, voicing words and engaging in actions that are contrary to the creative process of Life. But when I make an unconstrained choice to be who I AM, oh what beauty, wonder and glory can be personally experienced and expand in blessing to my world!
