This Week’s Quotation:

We reach critical mass when we have manifested a viable, growing, energetic form in the middle of our creative field. The critical mass is not the form alone but also the dynamism of that form. There is a time in the life of every creative field for critical mass to be attained; a time when the creative power that is bursting through that field—and everyone in it—has to be embraced.

The pivotal factor in reaching critical mass for the creative field you inhabit is consciousness. Consciousness is pivotal because changes there change the rest of the field. It is through shifts in consciousness that a critical mass of creative energy can be achieved that transforms the entire field.

Reaching Critical Mass

David Karchere
Author, Becoming a Sun

Here I am on a Friday morning, reflecting on this passage from my book, thinking, The average person isn’t considering these things right now.

But I am. I feel power bursting through the field I share with others who are passionate about bringing spiritual transmutation to the world. I feel the voltage building, lighting up our world.

What are the shifts in consciousness that bring this about? Most essentially, it is transcending the egoic view of the world. It is knowing an individual human experience but realizing there is far more than that transpiring. It is being all-in for the immediate practicalities of life while bringing uncommon creativity to the people and events around us.

If we have no awareness that we have the innate potential as human beings to come to a point of critical mass so that the process of spiritual fusion reaches a tipping point and transmutes us and the world we inhabit, we are unlikely to achieve critical mass. Knowing it is not only possible but happening now—it is inevitable.

I invite you to know that experience for yourself.

What does it mean to become a sun?

Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

  1. My work with the news media several hours every day enables me to constantly transcend “the egoic view of the world” and bring the whole body of humanity to focus in my consciousness to receive the radiance and ordering power of Universal Love, giving me the experience of what I think you define as “reaching critical mass.”

  2. I too am thinking of these things David. One thing that comes through for me around your words is how vital it is that there is a stance within us that has an “overview” perspective related to our egoic tendencies, and initiates thought, feeling, and action above and through that egoic state… through the capacities of mind, heart, and body. The “creative power” that you reference is key. I feel that this is of vital importance in our “becoming a sun” in these days.

  3. Thank you. It is no coincidence that Life circumstances have deeply led me to let go and surrender, and to abide in higher Love. The circumstances remain for me to steward out of a greater altitude and trust in Life, releasing the stranglehold of awry feelings and thoughts. Such peace is for the cosmos, and not for me to hide in. Life empowers all being.

We are the Tipping Point thank heaven – and each reminder pushes that line – thank you so much…..
