This Week’s Quotation:

It is hard to burst toward what you care about without owning the dimensions of your own spiritual warrior. If you do not own that, you might be playing small. Owning your capacity as a spiritual warrior you come to see that you are a person of great stature, and that extends at least to the four corners of the Earth. Your destiny is not to be a victim of what happens in the world. You are the spiritual warrior who changes the world.

The Warrior’s Song of Glory

Jane Anetrini, Doctor of Chiropractic who assists people in finding their own inner wisdom, strength, and vitality

It may seem like the opposite of the holiday spirit to speak about the dimensions of one’s own spiritual warrior when messages everywhere proclaim Peace on Earth. Yet peace does not come because everyone forgets their warrior. The warrior represents strength, protection, and loyalty—essential qualities for fulfilling one’s purpose.

Glory to God in the Highest!
It takes a conscious warrior to praise and bring glory into a world that has forgotten its connection to the Divine. How does one give glory? Meekly, without power? What is necessary for the presence of the Lord to be strong and safe upon the Earth?

Praise and glory are carried by one who knows what they love and whom they serve. This knowing is internal and does not depend on what is happening in the world around us.

I love to think of the Christmas angels and the shepherds in the fields as warriors preparing the way for the birth of Christ. They were holding the space for His birth, for His arrival, for His victory.

It takes a warrior to claim the land that belongs to the Lord. Many carols sung this time of year declare the glory that entered the world through the birth of this sacred being.

Thank you for coming.
Thank you for teaching us.
Glory to God in the highest.

What does it mean to become a sun?

Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

Although it may seem a paradox, I say these toasts together with you, Jane. “To the spiritual warrior!” and “To the Prince of Peace”. Thank you for your always uplifting and insightful comments. Always love, Tom C.

Thank you for the warrior spirit that you bring, Jane. Surely we are not here to meekly and weakly retire from the chaotic world that humanity has made. Particularly during the Christmas season I feel we are here to boldly bring the transformative power of the Truth of Love into human consciousness and courageously allow the creative process of Life to permeate our daily living.

It occurred to me that Standing Up for ourselves would reduce our need for Ho’o’ponopono – but of course, both are a blessing. One of the things I taught over the years as a psychologist, was Assertiveness Training. The thing is – standing up for myself has never been one of my innate competencies – and I must admit – I was way better at it when I was teaching it. The idea of being a Spiritual Warrior sounds like a great idea!!!
