This Week’s Quotation:

“I thought about the great disbelief I have encountered when people are presented with the idea that it is not only possible but truly normal for a person to know, with assurance, the vastness of God. Or that we are capable of understanding ourselves and other people, and acting masterfully relative to our human experience.”

What’s Always True

There’s a knowing inside us that doesn’t come from books or teachers. It’s already there. It’s part of who we are before the world tells us anything about ourselves. We call it our Primal Spirituality.

Most of us touched it as kids. That clear, natural sense of connection. That wide-open awareness. And then life layered over it. Culture, religion, expectations, fear. All the things that make us feel like we’re too small or it’s too scary to know anything this big or holy.

We’re built to know the vastness and nearness of God. We’re built to understand ourselves and others from a deeper place. Our human capacities—heart, mind, body, and spirit—are instruments we can tune. Even if they’ve gone quiet or have been playing discordantly, they’re still there, waiting to be brought back into harmony. Sometimes we just have to clear the layers that gathered over time so we can feel what’s real underneath.

For me, feeling the vastness of God is like being held by something steady and immense. When I turn toward it, I feel backed by the universe. I feel resourced, capable. It helps me see the bigger picture, spot opportunities, and rise above the mental swirl. Everything settles back into perspective. I feel the importance of the role I choose to play in my life.

And honestly, it makes life feel more spacious.

I don’t always feel connected though. Sometimes I drift. Sometimes old self-talk slips in. When that happens, I try to keep things simple. A slow breath. A cup of tea. A mantra. Moving my body a little. Anything that shifts my attention long enough for me to remember what’s real.

And when I drop back into that awareness, something softens. My heart opens. My choices feel clearer. I feel guided again.

The more I honor my primal spirituality, the more I see who I really am, and the more life lines up around that.

This knowing is not reserved for the few. It’s in all of us. We just get to clear the noise and remember again.

What does it mean to become a sun?

Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

Thank you, Lana, for reminding humanity of what is always true and has been true since the beginning of time, that we are one with the Divine and not mere human beings burdened with “original sin” or some other religious conditioning. No need to strive to become enlightened, just remember the transcendent Creator Being that you are and bring that into the world.

Thank you Lana – Sometimes we just have to clear the layers that gathered over time so we can feel what’s real underneath.
