This Week’s Quotation:
“Being all-in doesn’t necessarily mean that you are on horseback, saber brandished high. Being all-in means only totally owning and being engaged in what is happening in your life. And when I say ‘engaged’, I don’t mean all enmeshed, I just mean that you are fully present, fully here.”

Partnering and Creating with Love

I appreciate David’s invitation and direction that, if we are going to be truly engaged, we need to be fully present—fully here.
So often, we find ourselves living in the past. We analyze, review, and replay events as well as we can remember them, trying to understand what happened and perhaps make sense of it all.
But there is something important to remember about memory: Our memories are woven together with the feelings we were experiencing at the time. Something happened—it pushed a button, brought us joy, caused pain, or stirred something within us. And when we remember it, what we often recall most vividly are the feelings, rather than the actual details of the event.
The other place we often find ourselves is the future. We wonder. We anticipate, “What will happen if?”
But we cannot be there and here at the same time. So, I ask: Where are you now? Where is your attention? To be “all in,” we must be engaged now. Not in what has already happened. Not in what might happen. But in this moment.
What is happening in your life right now? Who is present? And perhaps most importantly: what would Love have me see, say, or do?
This is where our power lives.
This moment is not simply something to get through on our way to the next thing. It is the place where life is meeting us—and where we have the opportunity to meet life.
The wonderful one that you are is here, present and at the helm—creating, welcoming, stewarding, serving. Here is your creative opportunity.
Here, in this moment, you have the opportunity to create a new world—with Love as the author and you as the artist.
What does it mean to become a sun?
Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

Glad we are on the same wavelength, Jane, as my last Open Windows blog was on this very subject. When we are in fully in the present moment letting our natural power of Love flow into our living the present moment becomes the Eternal Moment and we experience the rapture of being alive. Thanks for how you so consistently and vibrantly demonstrate this in your living.
