This Week’s Quotation:

“On this journey, it often seems like the goal is to embrace a state of being that is something other than you and to let that reality live in the world around you. That perspective on the process is necessary because it introduces new inspiration and wisdom to your human experience. It has let you see and know things you could not have known any other way. However, your journey is not complete until you have a radical change in your approach to life. That change is from the perspective of a person who seeks an experience of being that is outside themselves to an experience of being that Being who has chosen to incarnate in your humanity—in the person who you probably identify by the use of your own name.”

The Point of Light is Mine

For much of my spiritual journey, I have looked toward something greater than myself, seeking wisdom, guidance, and a deeper experience of the Divine. That seeking has opened doors within me. Yet this passage invites a radical change: What if I am no longer being asked only to reach for the Divine, but to let the Divine take form through me?

Am I willing to be the Being who has chosen to incarnate as Keahi?

There are moments when I feel the weight of all that is happening in the world. I can feel responsible for holding everything together, finding the answer, or creating the needed change. But I am not being asked to carry the whole world through personal effort. I am being asked to take responsibility for the unique point of spiritual expression entrusted to me.

For me, this means allowing Love, Truth, and Life to find expression through my words, choices, relationships, and leadership. It means listening for what is mine to bring without assuming that everything is mine to carry.

What about you? What quality of Being has chosen to enter the world through your humanity? What becomes possible when you stop searching for it somewhere beyond yourself and allow it to live as you?

Perhaps our greatest responsibility is also our greatest privilege: to let the invisible become visible through the person we know by our own name.

What does it mean to become a sun?

Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

“You are the very thing you are searching for.” When I read these words by author Alan Watts 56 years ago I stopped my search for enlightenment and began simply to express who I AM. “You only know what you express,” are other words of wisdom that I have honored in my life. Thank you, Keahi, for communicating this truth in your own words in this blog.

As a practical example for me, as I walk past another less fortunate than me; yes maybe living on the street, I offer a blessing. I’m not posturing to the heavens above to offer a blessing, I’m looking him or her in the eyes and saying “bless you.” as the being I am.”

Wow perfect article for where I am in my life rightnow. So much of my life has been focused on becoming and doing things for others rather than just being calm stepping back and listening for the truth inside me that is always available to connect with when I become present and turn towards that which lives inside of me and is available to be discovered and expressed. From that place is a reality that I can bring to the world and share in my relationships with others. Everything else is illusion. Thank-you so much for these words and your friendship Keahi!.
