This Week’s Quotation:

Some people’s relationship with what has not yet happened makes them believe that there is nothing truly new that could happen. They generally believe that their experience will just keep going the way it has. There will be no miracles. They have life all figured out, and even though the results might not make them happy, those results are predictable. If you ask such people to entertain the new and different—a thought, a feeling, or the possibility of circumstances that have never been before—they are likely to reject it. We have the opportunity to have a different relationship with the possible.

Maybe the possible is not really in the future. Maybe there are possibilities with us now in a premanifest state. It could be that all of what has not yet happened is waiting in that premanifest state, like the millions of eggs that a woman carries in her ovaries that have not yet created babies.

The Possible

Sometimes, the harder things get, the less you think about what might be possible. You can end up simply trying to get through the “hard times.” And then they just get harder and harder.

Here is what I tell myself in times like that:

Yes, you have to get focused and power through this rough patch. But never forget your dreams! Never give up on them! Revisit them every day. Let them be reborn in your own mind and heart. No matter what happens, never settle for anything less, because your dreams hold all that is possible in your life.

I’ve found that dreams don’t always manifest like you think they will. My dreams don’t dictate the unfoldment of factual reality any more than yours do. But life itself is ingenious. And if I don’t give up on my dreams, life won’t either. It moves heaven and earth to find a way for them to manifest in whatever way is possible now.

I believe this is how it works for anyone. Feel those seeds of possibility you are carrying in your heart. Love them. Feed them.

If you don’t give up on your dreams, the power of life will move mountains to let them be born.

What does it mean to become a sun?

Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.
