This Week’s Quotation:

The difference between a joyful, fulfilling life and an unhappy, unfulfilled life is conscious awareness and understanding. When people understand that their personal destiny is to become a sun, and they understand the process by which that becomes a reality, they embrace the experience. They become a conscious participant in their own destiny. Without that awareness and understanding, they are fighting that destiny. They feel threatened by the powerful creative urge within themselves to become all they are meant to be, and all they long to experience.

The Powerful Creative Urge Within

David Karchere
Author, Becoming a Sun

We are coming through a time of the year when we celebrate the birth of the Christ 2000 years ago and now through ourselves. This is the birth of the central sun of our human family.

As we enter a new year, this is a good time to acknowledge the powerful urge within us that is the birthing energy of the Christ Spirit. That Spirit wants to enter the world through us. It wants to be in the world, live in the world, engage with the world.

The Christ Spirit wants to know the world, and be known by the world. It wants to Love. It wants to reveal itself. It wants to recreate our human experience.

The usual human experience is to turn one’s back on that urge. To feel it—but ignore it. To be busy about other things. Until the urge fades within a person.

John, the Revelator, said this:

And I turned to see the voice that spake with me.

He faced this central creative urge. And then it poured into him and through him. He became an expression of it. He became a sun.

I am becoming a sun. We are becoming a sun—all humankind. No matter what shows up on the evening news or on your social media feed, this is what is happening to us. Let’s get with the program and enjoy the ride.

What does it mean to become a sun?

Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

  1. The creative urge of which you write, David, has its origin in Love, and human beings have become so expert in distorting that urge of Love and expressing it in a myriad of destructive ways. May all of us in the coming year let that urge be expressed according to its authentic nature: the TRUTH of Love manifesting as integrity, nobility, generosity, honor, honesty, humility and many other qualities of Divine character brought forth in our living.

  2. Absolutely, David I agree with you and with Jerry’s words above as well. More POWER to you with all upper case letters! Let’s create in a holy, holy way. … and in a wholly holy way. Love, Tom C.

  3. “Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.”

Such a beautiful reminder of what life is about as we move ourselves into another earthly year and continue to see (or seek) the light!!!
