Are you happy with the version of reality presented by most of modern science that reduces it all to a mechanical universe? That acknowledges matter and energy but ignores anything beyond that?
Before the explosion of the natural sciences in the 17th century, Western culture embraced an understanding of the cosmos that included the presence of beings that live beyond the human sphere. The same was true in cultures globally.
As a person of the 21st century, wouldn’t you love to have your cake and eat it too? Wouldn’t you love to have all the benefits of modern science and still retain an awareness that the universe is not just energized stuff? It is alive.
Of course, if you are like me, you might like to let go of all the ancient superstitions about spirits, gods, and malevolent evil influences.
That’s what’s so great about living in this era. We are in a unique position to own spirituality for ourselves. To consider all that history, science, and the spirituality of the world has to offer and discern for ourselves what is true.
Here is what I have come to know for myself. Just because I can’t see something with my eyes doesn’t mean it is not there. Just because I can’t see someone with my eyes doesn’t mean they are not there.
And here is what I notice. I am the most normal, the most reasonable, the most balanced, and happy when I acknowledge the presence of those I cannot see in my life.
Angels? I don’t usually call them that. It is just that I sometimes feel someone looking over my shoulder, holding me with love and compassion, and calling me on to what is next for me in my life.
Do you ever feel that? Do you believe it if you do?
What does it mean to become a sun?
Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

This reminder to be ever more open to this realm of experience is so very valuable. The care, the nourishing surround, the love that is available to pour forth to and through me/us is so very helpful in the times that I am conscious of and sometimes needing this level of presence. It can be a life saver in my experience! Thank you so much David!
I definitely believe in this ‘higher guidance’. More and more I reach out to it and ask that force to take over with it’s higher wisdom, and as you say ‘call me on’. When I turn my consciousness over to the unseen I know then that I have done my best and am ready to be guided fully. Thanks David.
Yes, David, I feel that! I feel “someone looking over my shoulder holding me with love and compassion, and calling me on to what is next for me in my life.” I believe it is there, regardless of any knowledge and opinions.
David you ask if I ever feel that? Do I ever! I’m feeling it right now. There are times when I don’t particularly feel it, but I know it’s there. By “it” I mean the invisible realm of angels, spirits, beings… guiding me toward what’s next in my everyday activities. You also ask if I believe it when I do feel these spiritual promptings. Yes i do, but there are still a few doubts that intrude into my consciousness at times. Some of the visions of possibilities I receive are so vast and fantastic my beliefs falter. But with each victory and confirmation I can feel the transformation from believing to KNOWING.
And I believe–correction–I KNOW–this process is wonderful beyond belief.

I had firsthand experience of what has been referred to as “Angels” while I was hospitalized this past year. Pure love & support.
I think it’s important to not “depend” on anyone or anything else to do the job of restoration on this planet. I am here as an Angel also, capable of doing whatever is mine to do.

Do you ever feel that? Yes I certainly do. Everything I experience in this life assures me that I am living in a realm of angels. I can feel the angelic reality of my own being, and when another person approaches me, I immediately know that I am encountering an angel. My spiritual work may be described as calling forth the angelic potential in the body of humanity.
