This Week’s Quotation:

“This power will reshape your life if you let it continue to flow. It will take courage to face the heretofore hidden ways you have been choosing to live your life as you do. With that insight comes the opportunity to choose to create differently.”

What if You Actually Met Your Life?

Most of us learn how to cope with life before we ever learn how to truly look at it. We stay busy. We manage. We build quiet explanations for why things are the way they are.

Over time, those explanations turn into patterns. And those patterns can become an unconscious way of living.

But at some point, something in us starts asking for more. Can you relate?

It’s not about escaping life but taking an honest look at it. With presence. With love. A look at the choices we’ve been making without realizing it. The patterns that keep repeating. The familiar situations that feel a little too familiar.

That kind of honesty takes courage. It asks you to let go of the idea that life is just happening to us. And it asks us to draw on something deeper than willpower to do it.

What might be possible if you stopped managing your life and actually met it?

There is a higher part of every one of us that is always present. Steady. Clear. Alive. And it is not standing at a distance trying to fix things. It wants to descend into our life and meet it directly. The real circumstances as they are. The patterns. Meeting all of this without flinching, judging, or turning away.

But first, the heart has to soften. It has to become willing. Receptive. That turning toward something higher is what allows it to actually move in. And when it does, something begins to shift. The old grooves don’t feel as solid. The familiar ways of shrinking or settling start to loosen. A power rises within us. The quiet agreements we’ve made with playing small begin to come into view, ready to be seen with loving eyes.

And right there, something opens. Not a perfect answer. Not a finished version of yourself. But a real sense of movement again. A creative current you can actually feel. A choice point.

This is the courage the quote speaks to. Not pushing harder. Not becoming someone else. But being willing to let something higher in you descend into the reality of your life, see it clearly, and choose differently from that place.

That’s where your life can take a fresh breath of air.

What does it mean to become a sun?

Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

Thanks Lana. This is exactly what is going on in my life. I am making new choices not based on past conditioning but on who I am and what I love to do in my living and it makes so much difference in my moment by moment choices to just be me and without any concern to how others see me and everything to do with bringing my gifts to this world and seeing the gifts in those aroound me.
