This Week’s Quotation:
The body of humanity is currently living in a negative energy field. In that sense, there is a dark cloud, and that dark cloud of negative energy has been generated over millennia. It has been fed by the words and actions of people, born out of all kinds of unwholesome spirits—the spirits of hate and fear and all that is born from them. The residue of all those words and all those actions, all that expression on that basis, is a dark cloud. It is the negative side of our collective karma.
Most people are in touch with that cloud without even knowing it. They don’t realize that this cloud has descended into their emotional body and affected their thinking. So unwittingly, people all over the world tend to express themselves from out of that cloud, having received the energy of it into their experience.

Break Up With the Dark Cloud
It’s not a very happy thought: Humanity is living under a dark cloud of negative energy. But if it’s true, isn’t it liberating to see what is happening? And doesn’t it explain a lot?
We get so accustomed to the air we are breathing and the culture we are living in. It becomes hard to believe it could ever be different.
I remember becoming profoundly aware of the influence of culture while visiting Thailand. It was hard to believe that a culture could be that different from my own. Such loveliness! It seemed to me that they were practically singing to each other when they spoke. There was a spiritual flow between people in everyday conversation that I’d never seen before. Then I thought of my own American culture. It seemed so stilted in comparison. And I hadn’t seen it so clearly until then.
The dark cloud is like that. It is a shared field of negative energy, fueled by the thoughts, feelings, and actions of fearful, desperate people over millennia. We, the people of the world throughout history, created it. And most people relate to it day by day, moment by moment. They unconsciously refer to it when considering their lives and all that it is in them. Grrr. It makes them anxious, antsy and aggravated. And they think it is just themselves and the people around them that are making them feel that way. But it’s the cloud!
How liberating! If you see what is happening, stop relating to the cloud! Break up with it. Break the cycle that generates more clouds through your own joyful creativity. That creates a different kind of cloud—a cloud of love and glory. And the dark cloud shrinks if no one is regenerating it.
Break up with the dark cloud!
What does it mean to become a sun?
Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

Stellar to recognize this and live in the cloud of love, light, glory, generating creatively, together. Thank you for your words, David, and the transformative message you bring‼️
thank you for such a clear description. Laying it out to be seen makes a clear choice powerfully attractive !Seeing where to put attention is indeed freeing and delightful.
David thankyou for your words of wisdom and sharing an experience that changes the world. I am reminded of my living at 11,000 feet in the high Andes Mts w/ the Indigenous peoples. I too experienced what you are speaking of, living outside the dark cloud of our culture. When I was called back to US I left all my belongings in Boliva. I came back to the US w/ a small carry on and felt that I needed to return to Boliva within 6 months to live. Well, the Universe had other plans for me. It is now 10 years since I left, and my job is to remember everyday what it is that I knew & lived in true freedom through that experience. Trusting that I am making a difference in breaking up the heaviest component of the dark cloud here in the USA. Hope fills my heart as more of us remember our wholeness.
So good to touch that experience with you.
I love that thought – or better yet – mantra – Break up with the Dark Cloud – yes!!!
