This Week’s Quotation:

At the level of the whole human being, the power of creation depends on the nature of human thought and emotion. It depends on consciousness to get fully through to us. That is why the energy field working in your body shifts and changes as you think different thoughts. The same happens for anyone. The quality of thought evokes an emotional pattern that, in turn, creates changes in the physical body and in the energy pattern of the person.

Isn’t it amazing how a single thought can shift your entire world? One moment, you’re feeling light, steady, at ease. Then, out of nowhere, a worry creeps in, and suddenly, everything feels heavier, tighter, and more uncertain. Or maybe the opposite happens—someone speaks a kind word, or you recall a moment of deep joy, and something inside you lifts, expands, and comes alive!

Not every thought is true. And not every thought deserves to dictate how you feel. When a thought arises that pulls you into a lower emotional state, give pause. Try asking yourself:

Is this thought actually true, or is it a habit?
What would happen if I chose to believe something different right now?
What’s another way to see this moment that feels more expansive?

This small act of questioning creates a pause—an opening. And in that space, you are no longer bound by old habitual patterns of thinking. You are free to choose something new.

Thoughts evoke emotions, and emotions shift our energy field. If you’re stuck in worry, try pausing and breathing deeply—exhaling doubt, inhaling trust. If frustration rises, soften into patience, feeling into your heart instead of your head. If doubt creeps in, recall a moment when you felt deeply confident, and let that memory anchor in your body.

Once we feel the shift, we can anchor it in by taking one small aligned action to reinforce it. If you’re feeling gratitude, go ahead and send a quick message to someone you appreciate. If you’re embracing joy, put on music and move your body, or simply allow a big smile to fill your face.

Every small action reinforces the new cycle you’re creating. It’s not about perfection. It’s about presence. It’s choosing, moment by moment, to direct our energy consciously instead of living on autopilot. The more we practice this, the more natural it becomes.

So today, as you move through your world, I invite you to notice the patterns running beneath the surface. And when the opportunity arises to shift, to invite something new, take it. Because you are the creator of your experience. And every time you choose awareness over autopilot, trust over fear, and presence over distraction, you are reshaping your reality. Align with life, and watch as life begins to align with you.

What does it mean to become a sun?

Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

  1. Thanks, Lana, for your wise instruction on taking control of our thoughts and emotions and bringing a higher quality of awareness into our spiritual work.

  2. Thank-you Lana. Our thoughts can be so incredible to our growth. By just being present to my thinking and let go to the judgements my thinking can be used to experience unlimited possibilities in my growth just by allowing myself to observe and let go to judgements it can allow me to focus on what is really important. For me it is expanding the presence of love and understanding in my world. Building strong and trusting relationships in my life. To do this I need to live in the moment and celebrate whatever thought I am experiencing in an openness to the power of life that is flowing through me! I am so looking forward to sharing this in the Attunement | Meditation | Prayer on this blog Thursday at 9:00 am mtn. until 9:15 am. below the link everyone is welcome:

  3. Lana – Thank you – so beautifully put and so clear – once we realize that we are letting out thoughts ‘run amok’ – we can make a conscious decision to change direction.
