This Week’s Quotation:

What first occurs when the sun comes out in your experience is that your emotional body basks in its radiance—the waters of your soul are warmed. The emotional body loves to feel our warmth. It loves to receive warmth from your own source or from someone else. The radiance of the sun that we bring is the power of love, and whenever love is received by the waters of our soul, we feel a blessing that nourishes us like nothing else. In some respects, it does not seem to matter how love is received in the emotional body. Whether it seems to be from another person, from within, or from the eternal reality beyond space and time, blessing—a deep spirit of love and care—is given and received. And the deeper the fire of love enters the waters of our emotional body, the more powerful the impact.

The Warmth of Blessing

Jane Anetrini, Doctor of Chiropractic. She assists people in finding their own inner wisdom, strength, and vitality.

Imagine being in a room poorly heated and barely lit and then walking outside into the afternoon sun on a warm day. This is what I think of when I read this passage. While what I described is physical, the warmth of the love penetrating our emotional body is equally glorious.

As adults, we are not usually physically cradled like a child, but the opportunity to surrender to the love that surrounds us is the same. Breathe in, and feel the love surrounding you. Our breath, our heartbeat, is the evidence we are loved.

Having just sat outside to experience the solar eclipse, I felt the shift from full sun to partial. It can feel that way between people at times. Something comes up and blocks some of the radiance that connects us. We can feel we are no longer loved or that the love is conditional. That is never true when we open up to the Love that is the source of our being. Unconditional and constant is the nature of that Love.

I was taught otherwise—that I had to earn it and that I had to behave a certain way to receive it. I have let that idea be burned up in the warmth of that constant blessing, and I invite you to join me.

What does it mean to become a sun?

Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

  1. Thank you so much, Jane. Yes, I can welcome the warmth of love at any and every time if I let myself be open to receive it. THANK YOU. It is hard to receive what the offers if i am only and always worried about possible sunburn. Others also count on me for that warmth. what if I am off and on and off and on in my offering of love? There is nothing reliable and trustworthy about my being a sun-then-moon-then-sun-then-moon in people’s lives. Thank you for inspiring thought about this. my love is always with you, Jane, … and my thanks. Tom

  2. The lines of spiritual and physical are absent when basking in the Blessing of Warmth.
I feel the embrace and warmth you are offering Jane. And are encouraged to share the same on this cold spring day in Colorado.
    Thank you 🧡

  3. Blessing is the way the Love at our core is activated at the material level of our being. As we bless everything that comes to us the flow of Love does indeed have a wonderful warming effect in the emotional realm and the other levels of our being. And it even spreads out beyond us, warming our immediate world and the whole body of humanity to which we are inextricably connected.
