This Week’s Quotation:
Because you are a sun, you can embrace the incompleteness of your humanity. And you can embrace the incompleteness of others. Because you are a sun, you have a profound forgiveness for the ugliness of what is present within people and within yourself. And profound appreciation that right there within what is incomplete in people is the radiance of the sun. Whether or not they know it, they are becoming a sun too.
Becoming a Sun, p. 300
Because You Are a Sun
This is from the beginning of the last chapter of my book, The Radiance and Reflections of Grace.
Because you are a sun… There is so much that changes for a person when they realize who they are and they begin to understand the essential nature of their being. Because of that, the world looks different. People are seen and understood differently. And you gain the capacity to live in the world as it is with grace.
In the introduction to the book, I share that my use of the word “you” is as close as I can get to portray how I talk to myself. So when I use the words, Because you are sun…, I am speaking to myself and to you, dear reader.
And so I say to you now, You are a sun. Take it in. It’s true. Know it for yourself. The world will look different.
What does it mean to become a sun?
Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

To know that we are Becoming Suns and to know there is a Transformation Day coming – makes a way through the Seasons of Discontent easier to navigate – we are the world, because we are creating it now – a little scary and a little wonderful!!!
How true: I am a sun and I’ve been a sun since the moment of birth. But I wasn’t really conscious of it until a wonderful friend reminded of it in my late twenties. Now as I bring the light and warmth of the sun in my living, my sun identity is so real and so certain!
Consciousness returning to Sun-ness, and in any moment of remembrance of presence . The Sun always present .
