This Week’s Quotation:
The face of the waters is the surface. But the literal meaning of the word face suggests something else. When you see someone’s face, you see their conscious awareness through their eyes and their smile. So the face of our waters is the conscious part of our awareness that is on the surface. The spirit of God moves on that.
This story of Creation suggests that there is something we do consciously that relates to our whole feeling body. That conscious action is critical for the vibration of who we are to move through our whole capacity. It is where we have the choice to assume an attitude that will either empower or disable us. The healthy function of our emotional nature depends on whether we allow the face of our waters to be open to the creative movement of the vibration originating within us. It depends on our creative mental attitude.

The Face of the Waters
Have you found a philosophy of human psychology that illuminates how you are really made and how you work inside?
My experience is that most modern psychology is of little help. Do you think about your id, ego, and superego? In some ways, Jungian psychology assists. But still, there are foundational elements of who I am that it doesn’t address. It doesn’t set me free.
I have found that when I rescue the story of Creation from any dogma and see it as a profound description of human experience, it illuminates what is happening in my life.
The simple phrase referenced here is an example: And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The poetry of it is sheer ecstasy. My waters carry the entire range of emotion I experience as a human being. And it is stirred by mystical forces I don’t fully understand.
What philosophy begins to describe what happens in the depth of my soul or yours? And yet, this simple statement describes how cosmic creative forces enter us—universal Love moves us and stirs in ways we can hardly express. And when we know what is transpiring, and we let it happen, we are lit up. Let there be light.
Thank you, William Tyndale, for your brilliant translation of the ancient texts of the Creation story into English.
Thank you to our ancient ancestors for describing human psychology through symbology, poetry, and story in a way that illuminates our lives today if we will only see it.
What does it mean to become a sun?
Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.

Let there be light. This phrase has touched me all of my life in different ways in different eras – but each one meant so much in terms of how to think about Life. Thank you,,,
Universal Love sponsored a Soul Dance this day. Our Attunement Practitioner Training completed its 22nd week on this day of 10/22/2022. (how mystical is that numerological representation) And the culmination of our training included a 3 day gathering at Sunrise Ranch. The Spiritual substance generated during these 3 days is beyond words of description. The cosmic creative force was present most potently during a circle of “Healing Chant”. I felt our Earth Mother celebrate the Light generated as each participant expressed their vibrational uniqueness through their body sound. I am grateful to each of my sisters & brothers who responded to the call, we became the sun as each soul embodied brilliance, separately and TOGETHER.
