This Week’s Quotation:
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden;
and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
Here is the ancients’ description of the godhead—one reality manifesting through four streams of energy. You are being initiated into an experience of these energies every moment of your life. They are throwing a party inside you. The more the light of consciousness is shed on this event, the more you can enjoy the party.

The Party Inside You
You have to admit; the human experience is a wild ride. If you try to tame it, you can take the joy right out of it. And if you don’t find some kind of order to it all, absolute chaos breaks out.
We can come up with simplified versions of what is happening for us as human beings. But the reality of what is happening soon breaks out, defying any simplistic understanding of life.
That is what I wrote about in this mini-chapter of my book. I described it as the creative power of the universe throwing a party in your body, mind, and heart. You could tell the wild spirits at work in you to turn the music down, stop dancing, and stay out of the liquor closet. But what fun would that be?
If the power of Creation really is in four streams, each with unique energies and abilities, and those streams are mixing in each of us, there are endless possibilities. Every moment, the cocktail of life has a new mixer, a new blend of spirits, and the essence of something you can’t quite identify. Someone is putting on a new tune. And the dance of life is changing.
Maybe we find the divine order to it all when we admit to what is happening. Our life is a party, and it is beyond our control. What we can do is learn to be an active participant in the dance. We can learn to drink in the unique mix of life-energy in every moment. We can fully participate in every blessed beginning, middle, and ending in every cycle of our life.
And we can stop thinking it should be some other way.
There is a party going on inside you. Get up and dance!
What does it mean to become a sun?
Every human being is already a sun on the inside—a being of intense love and light. The difference is that some people have the vision and courage to become a sun on the outside. This difference is our human destiny.
